The Court of Owls conclusion is finally here! It's a grudge match between Lincoln and Bruce. "Brother vs Brother." Owl vs Bat. Prepare for Spoilers.

The Good: The art in this comic is so impeccable. Capullo's ability to master emotion, plot, symbolism, and character continue to amaze me. He draws eyes like no one else. I'm glad last month's revelation of Lincoln being a brother isn't so quickly disproven in this issue. Bruce's conversation with Dick made my eyes water because it's the conversation that we all wanted but never knew when it would happen. Bruce admits that he didn't save Dick , but Dick saved him. I think a revelation from Bruce himself couldn't of happened unless it was a story this big. Alfred's undying devotion to Bruce is admirable even though of what happened to his father.

The Bad: The scene where Lincoln held Bruce near the engine seemed a little unrealistic only because I think Bruce would go deaf.

Verdict: Bruce's faith in Gotham, his abilities, family, and his legacy have been tested, he came out, he may not have won the war, but he'll now prepare accordingly. I think the best thing out if this is his strengthened bond with his true heir, his real legacy, Dick Grayson.

That turbine would have sucked Bruce and Lincoln into as soon as they got remotely close, and having Lincoln flying around the skyline giving Bruce a good talking to was ridiculous. Worse yet was the actual diatribe--it was way too much. Lincoln telling his story the way he did was totally cliched and, f...
