Here it is. the finale all Bat-fans were waiting for. the fight between owl and bat hits a pivotal point while questions loom around on the true identity of Lincoln March, but on to the reviewTHE GOODWe see the fight between the supposed brothers, and Lincoln or Thomas is in complete dominance. He literally throws Batman all around the city while explaining how he only saw the city's reflection and how he knew that Martha Wayne was his mother. He talks about he Court literallly whispering to him...

Not that strong a finish for a very strong story 2

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW!As much as I hate to say this, this ending fell kind of flat in my opinion. As others have stated, the fight was corny and stupidly out of the realm of possibility. That turbine would have sucked Bruce and Lincoln into as soon as they got remotely close, and having Lincoln flying around the skyline giving Bruce a good talking to was ridiculous. Worse yet was the actual diatribe--it was way too much. Lincoln telling his story the way he did was totally cliched and, f...

The Story So FarIssue #11 brings us to the conclusion of this whole Court of Owls/ Thomas Wayne Jr. story arc. It picks up right where the last issue left off. Batman fighting his so called brother T Wayne Jr. We get a pretty over the top battle during which we hear T Wayne's big villain speech. Batman emerges the victor and it leaves Thomas Jr.'s fate open for future villainy. The story wraps up with Bruce giving Dick the facts that he has about his so called brother.HitThis ends the Owls arc v...

This was a really enjoyable read, and once again Scott Snyder has delivered a solid Batman story. This issue is filled with so much action that you will be on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next. Lincoln March is a very interesting villain, and I honestly can’t wait to see him back. There is so much territory to be explored around the character, and Snyder has only given us a small glimpse of what he is capable of. It is so impressive that Lincoln March has embedded himself so de...

    What a hoot! 0

Overall, "The Court of Owls" was by far one of the best stories ever told. Snyder was able to get inside Batman's head and mess with him like very few have done, while Capullo was nothing short of awesome. Nothing's ever perfect, but this stoy was pretty darn close. Please check my mini-review of Batman #11 here:http://bit.ly/SjcePmComments and feedback are always welcome!...

THE GOOD: I really like the art. Greg Capullo should be the artist everyone goes to for info on how to draw Gotham. There is so much detail in the city and it's very dark. The action in this issue is also very fluid and that is something that I think helped this issue out a lot. The backup feature also has amazing art. The story is amazing. All of Scott Snyder's stories also have a huge symbolism to me and in this issue it's very present. I really like the fighting and when his brother tells him...

The finale to the Night of Owls story arc is finally here! With all Batman, Scott Synder and Greg Capullo have been through, what else can the Dark Knight NOT be ready for? If you haven't picked up the previous issues, you really need to pick up the previous issues! This is one of Batman's greatest stories and Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo have done an outstanding job on writing a story that really focuses on Batman's character in the New 52 universe! The GoodWriter Scott Snyder and artist Greg C...

    Rebuild, reforge 0

SpoilersSpoilersThe Court of Owls conclusion is finally here! It's a grudge match between Lincoln and Bruce. "Brother vs Brother." Owl vs Bat. Prepare for Spoilers. The Good: The art in this comic is so impeccable. Capullo's ability to master emotion, plot, symbolism, and character continue to amaze me. He draws eyes like no one else. I'm glad last month's revelation of Lincoln being a brother isn't so quickly disproven in this issue. Bruce's conversation with Dick made my eyes water because it's...

The GoodI have to say Scott Snyder is the best writer, all of these issues have been great and are never a let down. The art: Greg Capullo is fantastic drawer however at some points of the story it wasn't detailed enough. But still I really liked the art. 4/5 The story: As I said before Scott is one of my fav writer and just blew my mind with his story.5/5The BadSpoilers: I wish that Lincoln march was explained more in how he is his brother (Whether if its true or not) and could at least be intro...

The Ending Behind the Mirror 0

Greg Capullo has consistently been giving this series outstanding covers, and for this epic conclusion to The Court of Owls, he gives us a cover that depicts Batman at his strongest. Every other cover until these last three have had Batman in danger, stabbed, watched, defensive, transformed; and yet, with #9 he's been slowly getting more victorious until we reach this one, Batman at an ultimate triumphant peak of victory. Truly this is an image of the Bat-God among men, the perfect mind, body, a...
