Never thought I'd live to see the day when I'd say, the latest issue of Batman wasn't as good as the latest issue of Aquaman. But, that's exactly what I'm saying right now.  A lot of what I don't like about this incarnation of Batman has to do with one of my biggest complaints with superheroes today. Simply amazing as to how professional the starting point of this issue was introduced. The beginning of this issue starts as a wonderful monologue. This is carried throughout. Many of my favorite issues of Batman comics have contained this technique. What I REALLY loved about this comic was the first few opening pages. Some of the coolest style and a great storytelling technique with a little surprise. The art could have been better overall but as I read the comic the deftness with which it was implemented with truly impressed me. All sins aren't forgiven but I won't hold anything...
