    Batgirl and her followers.The cover of this Futures End one-shot was the best you'll see from this series! Artists Clay Mann and Romulo Fajardo Jr. did the cover and it perfectly captures the readers attention. Specifically the questions, "What the heck is up with all the Batgirls and who is that larger Batgirl in the back?" Teasing worked well for this issue as writer Gail Simone and artist Javier Garron delivered on one of the best things that have come from Futures End! This story is about Ba...

    With Gail Simone stepping down from her responsibilities in the Batgirl title, I thought to myself: "Let's buy this issue, just this one, it's Gail's last issue, it has to be amazing". And then I changed my mind, because I don't really follow Futures End anyway. Then, I heard the guy at the shop talking about it to a customer: "One of the strongest issues of the event (...)     ...Just...Just, dammit, Gail. I thought we had an understanding that I was NOT going to get anything of Future's End, that I was not interested, and that I was not going to give DC my money for this event...and then, not only did you make Stephanie Brown Batgirl again, not only did you bring back Cassandra Cain as Batgirl, and not only did you make Lucius Fox's daughter Batgirl (I thought it was Nell to be honest, but whatevs, I'll take what I can get), but you brought back the Gooperangs.
