    THE GOOD: The art in this issue is still top notch. Adrian Syaf is an amazing artist and I think that he gives the book a light tone while dealing with something serious. I really like the way the characters look and especially in this issue the background is fulled of details and I think that it really does Gotham a good job. The story is okay. I really like having a huge back story. I really like the fact that it relies so much on history and incorporates it into something like Night of the Ow...

    Ok, the ominousness of the exploding buildings on this cover really won me over, but it's hard to ignore the utterly ridiculous positioning of that Talon's arms, and to a lesser extent, her legs.Another qualm here is that... why is it that Batgirl has to fight one of the only female Talons? I mean, there's a way the story kind of makes it work, but there's this nagging sense of... really? Female hero has to fight the female villain? It didn't REALLY bother me all that much, but I can see some pe...

    Wow! Batgirl #9 was amazing. Not only did Ardian Syaf deliver his best work yet in the title, but Simone also wrote a fantastic story. This one shows the true reach of the Court of Owls.
