The Story So FarBatgirl and Detective McKenna get their pow wow broken up by Batwoman. After some one sided fighting, they sort out who is on which side. Knightfall asks Batgirl to come alone to the Three Towers in exchange for Ricky the car thief. Once Batgirl gets there a fight breaks out with the three hench-ladies. We see that Knightfall has had some coaching from a third party and Batwoman and Det. McKenna come to Batgirl's aid. She then going looking for Knightfall but I don't think she li...

Batgirl vs Batwoman! DC finally remembered Batwoman was part of the "Bat Family", she was absent during The Night of the Owls. The group Knightfall is dealing out their own twisted form of justice. Batgirl is trying to get information on them from rouge cop McKenna, in order to stop them. I'm not a big fan of issues that promise a fight between two characters, but have it fizzle out rather quickly. Fighting other heroes due to misunderstandings CAN be done right, last month's Blue Beetle executed it spectacularly. While this one executes the FIGHT ITSELF well, it doesn't do a great job with the importance of it. I LOVE the way Batwoman enters the series, in a GLORIOUS double page spread whose layout really emulates the layouts of J.H. Williams III on Batwoman's solo title. And th...

THE GOOD: Adrian Syaf is doing an amazing job in this book every month. I really like how he added a little bit of Batwoman into this book with the panels and he did it very good. I like the expressions that he creates for the book and it really adds a lot of emotion to the book as well. I like the backgrounds he does as well. I think the story rapidly improved from the last few issue. I really like it how Gail is sculpting the villains more then she has in past issue. I like seeing that they ar...

The Psychotic Perspective: Batgirl 12 0

Every Time I FailThis is only my second issue of Batgirl since the DCNU started, and I found it to be a very good read.I, like most fans, was annoyed to hear that Barbara would be returning to the role of Batgirl. She played such an amazing role as Oracle that she has probably done more damage than good by returning to the streets and vacating her wheelchair, but though I dislike the editorial move of giving Barbara back the use of her legs, I am delighted that Barbara continues to have excellen...
