Bat-Mite had a good ending when it was revealed he was a fiction of Batman's imagination let's let it rest at that. these two are fonder memories than actualities

The'll probably be darker and act more like deities trying to manipulating their favorite or "hated" heroes and villains for their own entertainment.

Maybe something like Q from Star Trek?

I think they should be like Loki in Marvel's Acts of Vengeance. They manipulate or power up certain villains for their own benefits.

Or how about the two are still funny, but they will give someone super powers if the person gives them something in return, kind of like the devil. I think that wold be cool.

fun to read, but was Bat Mite ever to be actually taken for real? i mean,.. people like Batman and his rogues gallery because they are NORMAL right? everything about Batman (and co.) are "realistic". it's a "possible" theory to be a really rich, healthy guy who buys all these gadgets and travels the world, learns to fight and fights crime, and have no super powers. So doesn't Bat Mite kind of ruin all that? idk, i'm not too much into Batman,

Where does all that 5th Dimension hate comes from? I like Bat-Mite and Mxyzptlk. I would like to see them both coming back, they could give the DCnU a well needed dose of humor.

Maybe it's time those two got retired. Out of all the characters right now, perhaps it's time those two got relegated to the kids comics.

we all know how they'll be used. If DC decides to go back their pre-flashpoint storyline they'll reintroduce the characters to mess up reality and return it to its previous incarnation. "Mite-Crisis" they'll call it. Just like they did with B&TB.

I don't think that we should give DC any ideas on these characters or this matter.

They're not 90's enough to fit into the New 52. You can't give them crappy Image-inspired costumes... and they don't have breasts... so swimsuits are out the question... so no.... I seriously doubt we'll see these two for a while. :P

The fifth dimension was breached by Superboy Prime. Superboy Prime punched a hole in the multiverse, so that should leave ramifications. That damage cannot be easily forgotten. There are seven characters recorded to be from fifth dimension. These two are well known but the others are barely mentioned. They can be spotted as background characters like Where is Waldo. They can appear as dreams. If Mxyzsplk said there is one of him and he can take any form he desires then that means they are the same as well. Every comic, movie, TV series, cartoon, commercial they appeared in they can recall it.
