I'm new to comics in general, but very new to Flash. He's the second superhero I've started reading and I am looking for suggestions. I've googled and searched the vine for answers to this and have been left with a little too much info so I was hoping you guys could condense it a bit for me.

First I read Rebirth, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but it was a bit confusing having never met the Rogues before, and they're not really given much intro. I then read Flashpoint Paradox and between these two, they got me into the Flash.

I've since been following the New 52 Flash (only up to #12 at point of writing), but I'm still left wanting more detail into the origins/motivations of his Rogues. I'm particularly interested in Zoom (or Reverse Flash or Professor Zoom, little confused on his name), Captain Cold and Gorilla Grodd.

Any must reads that flesh out the character would be great.

There's nothing I can really do for you about the New 52 Rogues. They're basically new versions of old characters with different motivations. There's some Rogue based one shots from Pre 52, but a few of them are about Wally's versions of the characters who are not exactly the same as Barry's (Trickster and Mirror Master are different people than Barry's), but there is one for both Captain Cold and Heatwave, who are the same villain for both Wally and Barry. Cold's is Flash vol 2 #182 and Heatwave's is Flash vol 2 #218 for Heatwave. There's also a couple comics where them and Weather Wizard (who is also the same name character but even more completely different in the new 52 than the rest) are the only villains Flash is dealing with. They'd all be under Johns' run, which starts with #164.
