The 13th Baron in the Zemo bloodline. Helmut followed in the footsteps of his father before him, becoming an enemy of Captain America and the Avengers. In what could be his greatest scheme ever, Helmut masqueraded as Citizen V and led the Thunderbolts to public acclaim in order to conquer the world. In the end, he failed only because his cohorts desired to remain heroes and rebelled against him.

Second to Dr. Doom (who is my absolute personal favorite villain of all time), after seeing him Captain America and how he literally tore Bucky's life a part, I've gained a new respect for Zemo than I did before. And now looking at his history, seeing how freakin' epic he was with the Masters of Evil and the Thunderbolts, I've found Zemo becoming one of my favorite villains in the Marvel U, I'd like to see him appear more as a villain for Cap, along with seeing him try to take over the world with some crazy plot, maybe a new Masters of Evil to fight the Avengers?
But no matter what Marvel has planned for Zemo, I'll be looking forward to seeing what he's got up his sleeve next! ^_^
A respect thread on Zemo should cover his greatest skill: leadership.
Zemo has a knack for leading groups of people who, on paper, should be far stronger than him. He lead a whole group of Captain America enemies as well as HYDRA...
an army of Thunderbolts before he was asked to do so by Iron Man...
controls Bagalia, an underground city of supervillains...
repeatedly leads the Masters of Evil....
and most recently, took control of Pleasantville almost immediately after finding out he was even there. There are likely many other examples of his leadership skills, but these are some of the big ones.
