A Prussian nobleman, who was a favourite of Hitler, was made a concentration camp commandant. A ruthless administrator, he incurred the hatred of his prisoners and was one day assaulted by a recently arrived inmate. A vial of acid was thrown in his face, destroying his features. Hitler ordered his top surgeons to repair the damage the best they could. Then, hoping to compensate for the facial damage, Hitler had his scientists execute a long developed plan that tapped the commandant's latent psychic powers.
After months of experimentation, the baron was transformed into a human fighting machine, a new tool for Hitler's plan of world conquest. Baron Blitzkrieg battled the All Star Squadron and Wonder Woman on several occasions.
