Forging himself into the pinnacle of physical and mental potential and becoming "king" of his prison, he learned of the Batman, "king" of Gotham City . Escaping and studying his quarry, Bane challenged and defeated Batman, becoming known as "The Man Who Broke the Bat".

    I was just wondering who thinks that former WWE superstar Dave Batista would make a pretty good Bane in a live action movie?  I realize that he is not a movie\tv actor but do to his size physique and overall look, I think that it might work.

    @hueyfreeman:  Batista is juiced IRL, this would work because his body is freakishly ripped and veins are poppin' everywhere, as long as he keeps a mask on I'm pro-Batista for Bane. Just imagine the CG of his body full of Venom.

    @MrRagePants: If you would put Batista as Bane next to Bale's Batman in a movie fight he\Batista would be huge.  Which would lend itself even more to the fantasy and make for great on-screen battles.

    He was great as Drax but that's only because we weren't supposed to take him seriously anyways I don't know how that'd fly with Bane. If he can pull off the accent and the intimidation factor when it comes to presence as opposed to physicality than yeah I'm for it sure. Who ever ends up playing Bane all that matters is the guy has to be bigger then Ben Affleck they barely passed with the Tom Hardy to Christian Bale height difference
