In KnightFall, Bane found out that Bruce Wayne was Batman and took him down. Later when Azrael took him down and Bruce took down Azrael, he must have realized Bruce Wayne was Batman again. Why hadn't he just told the other villains the secret or at least sold the info for a pretty penny? Of course, a lot of the other villains aren't rich enough to make it a really good profit, but he could have made a lot of money by selling the info to Lex Luthor.

Why doesn't Bane tell other villains Batman's secret identity?

" @Caligula said:at me? sir." @CosmicSpiral: if it it exists in his mind doesn't that means he respects Batman? whether Batman respects the Joker or not is irrelevant. but the Joker does respect Batman. have you ever read a Batman comic? cause it doesn't seem like it. "LMAO "
because of the writers man, what happens and when is all up to them, asking me why he hasn't tried recently is like, as a blind ape to tell you what color your hair is :D we just don't know." @Caligula: If Bane wants to be the one to kill him, how come he hasn't been in any really big storylines since KnightFall? He should have tried to attempt it again by now. "

Not to mention Batman's secret identity is not a problem to him he has HUNDREDS of set up lives and nest eggs he can hop into at the drop of a hat Bruce Wayne dies in automobile accident suddenly a liquor stores opens on the lower east side owned by friendly Jason Richardson
Its a constant battle and he knew that it would end everything and it'd be over. His plan, kill Batman, not Bruce.
Bane wants the honor of killing Batman to be his and his alone. With all the other villains out there, it's hard enough to claim the prize without letting all the others know where to find him. He's claimed before that he admired Batman and saw it as an honor to face him.

he respects batman and i think he actually kind of likes himQFT.
Bane actually developed as a character and his relationship with Batman grew and evolved as well. Before the recent end of "Secret Six," Bane was actually on relatively good terms with Bruce (as good as that book was -and believe me, I was a big Six fan- I often wondered how much of Bane's character development Gail Simone actually read, where Bane inexplicably had hostile feelings towards Batman again at the end).
It's not about wanting to have Batman all to himself (it might've been like that in Knightfall, but not anymore). Whether a writer has him in the role of villain or ally, Bane just flat-out respects Batman too much to reveal his identity. He's much more like Ra's Al Ghul in that way than any of the usual psychotics that Batman deals with, who would likely revel in the knowledge of his identity or possibly sell the information.

Simply because Bane is smart enough to know that Batman without Bruce Wayne is a very bad day for villains.
A Batman with nothing to lose, a Batman free of any of the day to day distractions of being Bruce Wayne?
Have you read Bruce Wayne: Fugitive?
That's a Batman you don't want loose in the world if you're a bad guy.
Also these guys, Bane, Ras, Joker, they couldn't care less about Bruce Wayne really, they are only interested in his real identity, they are only interested in the Bat.
EDIT: oh I necro'd, sorry!
I NEED to read this.Simply because Bane is smart enough to know that Batman without Bruce Wayne is a very bad day for villains.
