    Origin

    Baby Boy was born on the wealthy island of Genosha. His parents were both known mutants and not allowed to "breed." They did so anyway and had a son that they never get to name. Baby Boy is presumed a mutant by the authorities because both parents were such.

    Written by Chris Claremont and drawn by Rick Leonardi.

    Major Story Arcs

    When Genoshan Magistrates hear that Baby Boy has been born, they pursue the parents to punish them. The unnamed father leaves his wife's body in hopes of finding refuge for their son. The father carries Baby Boy to the airport and leaps over the fence with ease. Baby Boy is placed on a plane and leaves as the father is gunned down. Baby Boy is tracked, however, and is soon in the custody of the Genoshan Magistrates.
