    Azrael Annual #1 - Requiem by braddock on June 24, 2009

    A great annual from possibly my favorite series, following the events leading up to the first Batman: Sword of Azrael issue. The story focuses on the Azreal Ludovic Valley, father to his successor Azrael Jean-Paul, painting him in a new light, as a character machinated by the Order of St. Dumas, one prone to frightening delusions and hallucinations out of the cult's indoctrination.
