This is what you've been waiting for! The return of legendary artist Joe Madureira (X-Men, Battle Chasers) and fan-favorite Spidey writer Zeb Wells in a brand new, highly anticipated, monthly Spider-series that teams the wall-crawler up with some of the greatest heroes in the Marvel Universe. In our first issue, Spider-Man and Red Hulk take on a Moloid army during the New York Marathon! Stay safe until November because you'll want to be here!

After a battle with A.I.M. with the Avengers, Spider-Man gets Red Hulk to help him return to New York. When they arrive, they find an army of moloids attacking during a marathon. While they try to protect the citizens and reclaim J. Jonah Jameson – who had been captured during the assault – a moloid summons a subterranean beast that devours Spider-Man and Red Hulk.

Meanwhile, J. Jonah Jameson is taken to the new rulers of Subterranea, the Molans, who had captured and imprisoned the Mole Man.

If you love Spider-Man you'll love this book. It's Spider-Man team-ups and those were some of my favorite books in my youth. The villian is a cross-over villain that other NYC-based heroes have fought. I wonder if/how this affects things in those books....

He's the funny (annoying) guy that just pisses you off especially when the situation is serious (and the way both series has been so far, there have been some tense situations). But let's put it in Spidey's perspective. While he did some amazing things as a superhero, I can understand why he feels out of place with hero...
