Avengers comics seem a little to US centric. So I think they should create an Avengers International to deal with villains abroad. Here is a roster idea.

    Black Panther (Wakanda)
    Storm (Wakanda)
    Sabre (Israel)
    Ursa Major (Russia)
    Northstar (Canada)
    Dust (Afghanistan)
    Hercules (Greece)

I wouldn't really mind canceling Secret Avengers and New Avengers to make room. But thats my opinion.

Seriously sweet team man! I'd personally probably prefer Dust to stay with her X-Friends, and I know US is already over represented by I'd love Blue Marvel here... plus he has a base undersea!! Oh and Shamrock, she'd be awesome too! Lots of cool obscure characters that could be given an update too!

I thought Dust and Sabra might have some good tension, BP and Storm could have differences about leadership tactics and face mild marital stress because of it, and with Northstar being gay religion and social taboos learned by the other characters would cause a interesting friction. Friction isn't a bad thing.

You know I love the idea. Marvel is letting DC bet them out with more minority characters in their own title, they need to step it up. I'm buying Mr. Terrific and Static Shock.

I like the idea alot! Maybe it would bring back that 1st Uncanny X-Men feel where everyone was so vastly different and unique. I think SC right bring back some obscure characters and reboot them.

Ursa Major? Why not Crimson Dynamo instead? She can be "Iron Man" of the team.

Would love the idea. I think it's  cool because DC has Justice League International and Marvel doesn't really have a international team.

That's a DC thing for marvel I like it much better when each country has their own Team.
    America: Avengers
    Canada: Alpha Flight
    UK: Excalibur
    Russia: Winter Guard
    Japan: Big Hero 6
    China: People's Defense Force
and so on and so on.

In DC comics China had Great Ten, Japan had its super-team too (forgot the name), Russia had Rocket Red Brigade etc.

@Kairan1979: I always like Ursa Major

@Dernman: I think it would be good to have a group that doesn't represent a single country's agenda.

That's true but they never got the attention that Marvels teams have.
They never got the attention that Alpha Flight or Excalibur got.

Great Ten had a mini but that was it.
I would love a Rocket Red Brigade Comic. I find the generic armor more appealing then the one in JLI.

Great Ten had minor parts in other comics ( Shield or Checkmate, for example). But I agree that they need more attention.
