At the moment it was confirmed that Storm is joining the Avengers, I felt very happy that she finally is an Avengers member. But I was also wondering why they didn't put her and Wolverine in one comic/team. Did Marvel intentionally want them separated so that each Avengers issues have at least one x-men on it? Cos if they were in one team, we could have seen interesting stories between them like Wolverine asking Storm why she sided with Cyclops and why she joined the Avengers. And at the start of AvX, Storm could have also been seen asking Wolverine to leave the Avengers with her.

Because Wolverine was already on too many teams to begin with and Bendis wanted Storm in the main x-book.

Alright but he should at least have Wolverine appear on one issue like seeing Wolverine shaking hands with Storm saying: Fellow X-man, fellow Avenger." there's a lot of good stories that could have done between the two of them.

He DID have Wolverine in an issue, it was #19, where she "debuted" and they shared the usual (Bendis) conversation, and that was that.

They didn't do it because we've already seen enough of Storm and Wolverine together in a million issues of the many & varied x-titles.
