Four people on that list are already or were Avengers at one point or another.
Cloak and Dagger on the avengers would be great since they haven't made a comic book appearance since that one-shot last year >.>
They have a miniseries coming real soon in Spider-Island thankfully.
I've wanted Iceman to be an Avenger for too long. I'll take some Photon and Herc as well.
Ghost Rider doesn't fit, and ManThing definitely needs to get out of team books all together. The rest listed are okay, I could see them doing something I guess.
i say cloak & Dagger or Photon, if they add Deadpool, i'll be pissed, as some one above me said, he's not Avengers material, plus he should still be busy being on x force...and in deadpool corps...and in Deadpool team up...and in "Deadpool" ...and on America's next top model...
Deadpool would be a fun one I can see him butting heads with Cap. Honestly though I don't see anyone up there besides Black Panther I'd want to join the Avengers.

Personally I would love Cloak and Dagger on the team, Photon would be cool, and personally, I think Storm deserves to be on the team, it just makes sense
Cyclops would have to lead. He won't join the Avengers. As an X-Men fan I wouldn't seeing Storm join The Avengers but not Iceman, Cyclops or Rogue please! Ghost Rider?! I don't see how he would follow orders properly. Blade was a good team player when he teamed up with the X-Men vs Xaurus and the vampires.
Wolverine can keep his slot as an Avenger,but i mean either way both teams are doomed. I heard being written by Bendis is worse than being under Fraction,and Fraction was horrible.com!!
I wanted Storm to be an Avenger ,i really did..but now i'm having second thoughts.

Sure. He's had a lifetime of experience being a field member, a grunt, a weapon, or dropping to whatever position the situation at the time called for. Teamwork and tactical placement are his area's of expertise. I thought the rumor to sound silly, but I thought about that, him "leaving" the X-books, Schism's end coinciding with Fear Itself's end, Scott being an ambassador for his species, as well as Steve Rogers meeting with Scott early on in Heroic Age and requests of him, and it actually falls very into place.

With that question alone, you have the potential for some fantastic stories. I think if he leaves the X-Men, he'd be a good fit for any team, while struggling with his ghosts over his leadership abilities. And maybe have a story arc where he just doesn't want the mantle of leadership anymore? I don't know - the potential stories are staggering.
Marvel already announced this like a month ago prior to the image in the OP being released, and I believe this is referring to a new member joining the main Avengers team, not the New Avengers.
