Hawkeye (especially The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Hawkeye. His solo series is amazing. Joss Whedon says he's got a huge role in Age Of Ultron. I can't wait!

Spider-Man is my favorite character in the poll, but I don't care for him in the slightest as in Avenger. Way better off on his own. (feel the same about most of them frankly, the Avengers are just a boring team)

As an Avenger - Cap and T'Challa. (Again though far more interested in them on their own. Speaking of which WHERE THE F*CK IS MY BP SOLO?!)

I think I'm on the total opposite of this. I read every Spider-man comic I could get my hands on for years, and I loved that he was kind of an outsider from all the teams in the MU. But after reading decades of Spidey's solo stories, I sort of just got tired of them; he's got sort of a narrow niche in after all.

So by the time he joined the Avengers I would have been pretty much done with Spidey if having him on the team hadn't happened. Suddenly he was interesting again, rekindling not only my love of his character but of the Avengers as well.

Then again, I tend to like ensemble casts more anyway, which is the whole appeal of the Avengers. I know lots of them have or have had their own books, but even though I love most Avengers characters, I've never been as interested in their solo books. I'm really loving Hawkeye and She-Hulk's books, but most Avengers, even favorites like Cap', Thor, or Spider-man, just don't interest me as much on their own anymore.

@oldnightcrawler: For me specifically I love Peter's supporting cast characters practically more than half the roster of the Avengers so yeah.

Cap for sure right now has a bad ongoing that I'm also not reading, but Brubaker's cap >>>> any avengers book any day of the week. Same with Thor right now (frankly Old King Thor is more interesting to regular Thor for me right now lol)
