I would have to say Ares! Not to mention half of the current New Avengers.

Ares was trash as the god of war i'd expect him to stray away from the guns and do it himself. Wasp although she beat hulk that once she still sucks.

I agree with those who say Spiderman. Him and Daredevil don't belong on the Avengers. Neither does Wolverine.

Is that becuase for SM and DD that they have mostly been loners and thus don't play well in groups ?

Why Wolverine ? Is it because of his nature (would kill as required) and that does not play/fit in with the Avengers ?

I wouldn't call them loners but they work better as individuals and are needed for the smaller issues. I think the New Avergers are a good fit but still would have them as full-time members.

As far as Wolverine, he just doesn't seem right for the Avergers or any team other than the X-men. To me he seems that he wouldn't want to be bothered with others constantly. He is an X-men because he needs to be, he doesn't need to be an Avenger.

I think i'd agree with you on this one...it seems like the Avengers spent more time fighting against Hulk than any time he spent as an actual member!

Especially if you count all the times the individual Avengers like Cap, Iron Man and Thor fought against him in their own strips!

Love Hulk in his own comic, though.

Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Wolverine definitely don't need to be Avengers. Spider-Man is a solo hero, so is Daredevil. And Wolverine is an X-Man plain and simple. And he barely fits in there.
