I did, it was beyond awesome. Easily Marvel's best.

#2 Posted by Loki9876 (3043 posts) - - Show Bio

I did.

#3 Posted by gavinification (82 posts) - - Show Bio

Epic barely does it justice.

I have to wait til Sunday, it comes out Friday here but I don't have a baby sitter til Sunday and I am not going to attempt to get my kid to sit in a crowded theater for over 2 hours cause that would require direct assistance from god or an edit of the Movie featuring Phineas and Ferb

Better than Thor, Spider-man 3, or X: the Last Stand?

I'm seeing it Saturday. It comes out Friday here and unfortunately I have other engagments that night. I'm actually skipping my aunt's funeral to see it on Saturday... I know I should feel bad about that, but I'm afraid I just don't.

great movie

@TheCannon: It could be done with Legos and be better than X3

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! X: the Last Stand was one of the best comic movies.

#13 Posted by joshmightbe (24768 posts) - - Show Bio

@TheCannon: Did you see a different version than me? Cause the one I watched was sloppy, most of the characters were portrayed wrong, Juggernaut is Professor X's half brother and in the movie they didn't even know each other. Angel was barely more than a screen shot, Dark Phoenix was weak, Cyclops got screwed over and the plot was mostly just an excuse to make Wolverine more important to the Phoenix saga than he was in the comics

Juggernaut, yes. I didn't care for him in the movie. He isn't s a mutant, so shouldn't be part of the Borhterhood. Everything else about it though was perfect.

@TheCannon: Agree to disagree

I can't believe this post is serious...

I love the first 2 X-Men movies, and I will even admit, The Last Stand is not as bad as some people make it out to be, but because that movie was plagued by behind the scenes problems it was far, far from perfect.

I did and it was an awesome movie

The movie sucked.....

One of, if not THE greatest comic book films of all time! Humour fitted in nicely and broke up the action, didn't seem out of place or corny. All characters got almost equal time in the spotlight.

Also, Scarlett Johansson, DAAAAAMMMNNNN SON!

Welp. I feel bad for every comic book movie that'll come after this. I cannot for the life of me find a single flaw in this movie.

Best comic book movie that I have seen in a long time.

I totally understand. My wife was kind enough to watch both of our kids so I could go because she knew how important it was to me. I plan on taking her when I can get someone to watch my 3 year old (my 4 month old can sleep though anything!)

#28 Posted by joshmightbe (24768 posts) - - Show Bio

@Voodoom: My wife would have but she had to work today and is going to a baby shower Saturday so Sunday we talked her mom in to watching the kid so we can go then

#29 Posted by Voodoom (174 posts) - - Show Bio

@joshmightbe: Awesome I hope you both have a blast!

#30 Posted by joshmightbe (24768 posts) - - Show Bio

@Voodoom: Oh she'll make me pay for it, I'm hoping to god there are no new Nicholas Sparks movies coming out this summer

A grappling arrow is it!? That's the only trick arrow we get? lame. other than that though, very amazing. it was definitely an avengers movie. not sure how it could have been better besides. I was thoroughly impressed.

Did you miss the exploding arrow, or the arrow that hit one Chitauri in the head, and then shot off little bullets in a circle to kill a bunch of other ones?

I couldn't agree more. Save for maybe:

Cap lacking a "Avengers Assemble" line or a "Hulk strongest one there is"

It was GREAT!! I loved it, one of MY all time movie favs

#39 Posted by desmond006 (598 posts) - - Show Bio

It was my favorite comic book movie. I prefer comedy to doom and gloom and drama.

#40 Posted by joshmightbe (24768 posts) - - Show Bio

Apparently Avengers beat Harry Potter's box office record this weekend

#41 Posted by joshmightbe (24768 posts) - - Show Bio

@Uncanny_Doom: Or the arrow that shut down the helecarrier's computer banks

#42 Posted by Uncanny_Doom (481 posts) - - Show Bio

@joshmightbe: There was also one that melted/disintegrated one of the Chitauri hoverbike things slowly.

Loved Hawkeye in this movie. He had the least time but still managed to look awesome.

I saw it on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

It was great.
