With Bendis leaving the book soon (but not soon enough), who do you honestly think will take over and why?
Avengers
Team » Avengers appears in 7704 issues.
The Avengers are Earth's mightiest heroes and foremost super-team... "There came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born - to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Heed the call, then - for now, the Avengers Assemble!"
Who do you honestly think will take over Avengers?
Well I was raised to hope for the best, but expect the worst. That being said, I hope for Slott, Waid, or (a longshot) Whedon, but I'm expecting Fraction.

I hope for Waid or Slott, that way I can read Avengers again.
this. But knowing Marvel it'll probably be Fraction.......

Please for the love of god... NOT FRACTION.
I think Hickman has far too many priorities on his hands right now, what with FF, F4, The Ultimates, etc.Fingers crossed for Hickman, Waid, or Slott. Based on Fear Itself, I wouldn't want it to be Fraction.

Like I said in my earlier post, the signs are all there.

Now stop that! You just stop it, you hear me?
Denial won't save you, I'm afraid.

I hope you're right but knowing Marvel, I expect to be disappointed and that it will be Fraction.

You never know. Bendis, Loeb and Fraction are still grabbing at the X-Books to date, Fraction wanting back in himself. Yet I haven't seen full results so far. Or maybe, while it isn't going on I want to enjoy it? The thought of certain people taking over Marvel and starting to drive away more qualified writers, which they already have and still are doing. No one likes being under the thumb of creative control, imagine if say...Rick Remender got fed up with that and started pulling away like many others have, noticing Abnet & Lanning beginning to do this and follow others out and putting their real efforts in over at IDW (not that New Mutants isn't a well done book or anything, clearly they have their heart in it), and surprised that Majorie Liu hasn't...yet. It's sad Marvel isn't able to recognize that despite readers buying comics out of obligation, that giving certain Bullpen members too much power is ruining the quality of their books. So I guess your right in a sense, because their denial certainly hasn't saved me or their books. ;)
This.Fingers crossed for Hickman, Waid, or Slott. Based on Fear Itself, I wouldn't want it to be Fraction.

Hickman said he never planned on leaving "Ultimates," and he took "Ultimate Thor" with "the understanding that I would get 'Ultimates.'" But now, he said, "I got a job offer that I couldn't refuse, so I'm taking it."
Hickman on co-writing Ultimates with Sam Humphries.
Hurm. Okay, Morph, you're superior to me. It's official now. -___-@Illuminatus said:

Then I have lost all hope for the future of Marvel.

@Deranged Midget: If you think about it AvX isn't even an event. All it is is the gathering of two terrible people and their excuse for writing the other's garbage.

Exactly, either they have exhausted all of their good ideas, or they just lack imagination.
I'm calling it right now, Fraction kills off Cyclops and Iron man over the course of this event.

Hickman, especially considering that he announced he's leaving FF/F4/Ultimates at the end of the year for a job he simply couldn't refuse. He's got work with the Ultimates Under his belt and has been using them in FF/F4 as well. I'd love to see what he does with the title. He just needs to tweek his writing of Cap a bit.
