I did this on the X-Men forum and kinda did this with the Justice League so I'm going to do this with the Avengers.

If you could make an Avengers team, who would be in it?

1. Since the Avengers is made of so many different characters, you can put whoever you want into an a Avengers team.
2. It doesn't matter of they're alive or dead.
3. Minimum of 6, no more then 10 members on a team.
4. You can make multiple Avengers teams. Example: You can make an Avengers team, a New Avengers, Secret Avengers, West Coast Avengers, Dark Avengers, Mighty Avengers, etc. You don't have to make multiple teams. If you want to cool, if you don't still cool.
5. You can make an Uncanny Avengers team, and just in case anyone asks, any team that isn't around like the West Coast Avengers, you can make a West Coast Avengers team if you want.

Members are important but writers, artists and villains/obstacles/challenges all rank higher for me.

1.Captain America(would be the leader and let the people have a "voice")

2.Black Panther.( He is the King of the Dead for Christ sake and not to mention has the metal vibranium and he can takedown the batman he has to be on my list)

3.Thor(He is a god and one of the strongest beings in comic books)

4.Ironman(HE is smart and can help us with technology issues or equipment)

5.Spiderman(He is someone the citizens will love and he never gives up.)

6.She-Hulk( I would have the Hulk, but since she is smarter and can control her anger I choose her for the brute in our team not to mention a lawyer)

7.Wolverine(He would go over the boundaries to protect someone and get the job done)

8.Captain Marvel(Former pilot not t o mention a hard worker. She would probably be third in command behind Black Panther and Captain America

9.Ghost Rider( He could scare the hell out of criminals, not to mention he could keep the streets safe at night since he rarely sleeps as Ghost Rider)

10.Sentry( Because he is sentry)

@mitran: yeah i see what you mean, but I think thor can handle magicians because he fights enchantress and loki all the time, and rougue I count her as a brick as well because the version of her im thinking about was the 90's cartoon, but i see what you mean with the whole telepath thing

Totally agree about the creative team stuff, less so about the villains.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good villain, but I can love an Avengers team without one. My favorite era of The New Avengers was when they were fighting Electro, Savage Land Mutates, ninjas, and eventually other Avengers. There's no really memorable villains in Avengers West Coast, there was kind of no villains at all in House of M or Civil War, and I like all of those.

Something I'm really liking about Uncanny Avengers is how many great villains we've seen already, but, like most of my favorite Avengers runs, it's more the interactions between the members of the team that really interest me. That's just me.

Which, traditionally, have always been weak spots for the Avengers.
