Avengers
Team » Avengers appears in 7694 issues.
The Avengers are Earth's mightiest heroes and foremost super-team... "There came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born - to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Heed the call, then - for now, the Avengers Assemble!"
Unscripted Review: Avengers Prime #3
Whenever someone mentioned the words "Marvel"and "Continuity" together. I can't help but laugh. At this point, it's as if you are asking for the president's birth certificate. It's a silly question with an obvious answer. The president is American, and Marvel hasn't given a rat's ass about continuity in decades.
Best part of this was Babs grilling G-Man over the issue of Steve Rogers.
Nice review guys. 'G' go a lil' easier on Babs. She is a nice girl. She's trying lol. SO stop rolling your eyes. sheesh lol
Great review, I'm all about the fun big title books, this sounds like it could be right up my alley.
But I'm going to have to say some of G-man's expressions were pretty fantastic.
And the Giant Reptile DOES look non-threatening. It has a face only its mother could love, but threatening, no.
And I wouldn't really be sad if there was NO tony butt-crack.
Craaap, I wanted to start reading an Avengers title after I dropped Secret Avengers, but now I'm gonna have trouble deciding between this or the regular main-line Avengers title.
THE DILEMMAS!
There are principles to character design,
pointy is scary
round is friendly
and square is strong
So I understand what Babs is saying about the monster. But I think Alan Davis was paying tribute to Jack Kirby designed monsters. I also understand what she means about continuity. I almost looked at this series as not existing in continuity for a second without thinking about it. Its a shame its not an every month comic, but I am willing to wait and accept all the timing stuff since its such a great book.
Alan Davis is great at expressions and body positions and such.
As for the Asgardian in issue #2, she is Empathic. He can't stop but pour his heart out to her about everything. So maybe there is some sort of spell he is under that is part of that too.
You know, with all the sexually exploitative images of women in comics. Women have every right to some exploitative images of men. It's hypocritical to soak up all these naked women pictures then get all flustered at some male nudity." And I wouldn't really be sad if there was NO tony butt-crack. "
Babs was spot on in this review. There was some Hela butt crack. So, why not some of Tony? When you consider how much female readers have to put up with in comics. I think us guys have no room to complain when it comes to male nudity. No one is saying we have to enjoy looking at Tony's ass.
" Nice review guys. 'G' go a lil' easier on Babs. She is a nice girl. She's trying lol. SO stop rolling your eyes. sheesh lol "I dislike the fact that you think Babs needs defending in that way? She can take on Mr. G anytime. Right? RIGHT?

You are absolutely RIGHT. I was thinking the same thing. Babs views don't need defending, nor does she need anyone to go easy on her.
