yeah, I just always found him dull. And yeah, the new Hawkeye series has made me really like her, though I'll admit, most of what I like about her is her relationship with Clint.
I found it interesting that I was thinking more about character interactions than what I like about specific characters. It has a lot to do with what's really great about the Avengers. Storm, for example, is one of my all time favourite characters, but she probably wouldn't make the top 20 of my favourite Avengers; whereas, say, Hawkeye (either one) isn't one of my favourite characters by his(or her) own merits, but will always be in my top ten favourite Avengers.
@dangallant984: Yeah, I agree. Especially with the Storm example. I was stoked she was an Avenger, until she became an Avenger and really didn't do anything. What was the point of bringing a popular character onto a team for their first time and then do absolutley nothing with it?
though I love Daredevil, I am able to separate the two of Avenger and solo/other team affiliation. I can say I love Storm as an X-Man but her time as an Avenger was lacking. Hulk is awesome...by himself but only appeared in a handful of issues. Thats just me though
