    First off this series is AMAZING. But what I dont understand is when the New Avengers go to track down Sauron in the Savage Land, how come they dont lose their powers like the X-Men always did? Is it only mutants who lose powers there?

    I don't think there's anything about the Savage Land itself that makes characters lose their powers.

    I've read lots of stories set in the Savage land wherein no one, mutant or otherwise, lost their powers.
