"I know you have all seen the commercial for this buy now...so is anyone going to buy this DVD or no.Because when I first saw the trailer I was like.....Yea I might get this but now i'm like....WHY IS MARVEL MAKING THIS!? So what does everyone else think?"Yeah I will get it. I'm not expecting much from it, but hopefully it will be good.
"Did you see T'Challa's kid...and that old ass Hulk...WTF!???"Old Hulk reminds me of Maestro or whatever that thing was called. T'Challa's kid looks interesting powers wise. Just from what I've seen I bet his mom was Storm.

I saw the entire movie back in July at Comic-Con. I got (an early) copy last week from the studio. I watched it again. I honestly think people should give it a try. It's only fifteen bucks at places like Target. If anything, you should at least rent it. It's a good story. It's not a kiddie movie.
"T.J. Magnum said:"What?"thor's kid....................sigh
"
i can tell im not gonna like her lol
"Nobody said:If you think like that you won't. I'm at least giving it a chance. I see this movie turning into a comic series if it does well(at least a mini)."T.J. Magnum said:"What?"thor's kid....................sigh
"
i can tell im not gonna like her lol"
"maestro is hulk but from another reality or time period or universe except that hes evil"
OMG
thanks for telling us that............we would never figure that out
Claps
"Nobody said:She's great. She never "met" her dad. She tries talking like him with the "doth" and "thou." She gets teased when she messes up. And if you still don't like her, she does get humbled."T.J. Magnum said:"What?"thor's kid....................sigh

"Nobody said:Ha. That reminds me of something Pym says to Torunn when he sees an image of Thor. I won't ruin it, but maybe you can figure it out."T.J. So I just bought the movie today and I loved it. Yeah it was a little kidish, but that was expect. But other than that it was a good story and stuff. I'm still curious where BP's son got the electric powers. My guess is possibly Storm, but he didn't have other weather powers.
On a side not, Hulk vs Thor looks amazing.
@ Nobody: Glad you liked it. Kyle and Yost would never actually say who Azari (BP's son)'s mother was. It's pretty safe to assume who it is. Ask yourself where would he get electrical powers from? Also in the beginning, they show his mother from behind (the image of BP holding up Azari as a baby). His mom has white hair.

i just dont understand why marvel wont give us an animated movie actually based on a specific story arc....i don't know about anybody else but that's what i really want

Hulk fights Thor... that's not a story, just a long battle....

"i just dont understand why marvel wont give us an animated movie actually based on a specific story arc....i don't know about anybody else but that's what i really want"I'm waiting for a Civil War animated movie and a Spider-Man based animated movie.
"i just dont understand why marvel wont give us an animated movie actually based on a specific story arc....i don't know about anybody else but that's what i really want"The reason for this was to do something for everyone. New viewers could easily jump into this and make the characters "theirs." They don't have to worry about a ton of history since the characters themselves are new. For us that know about comics, we see the connections to the characters that we know. It's just like with the comic movies, they're never 100% faithful to the comics. As crazy as it sounds, there's more people out there that don't know about comics like we do. A main factor in creating these dvds or movies is it has to be financially sound. There has to be a profit. They can't just make what us fans might want because we're just a small portion of the consumer base.
On a better note, Hulk Vs Wolverine was made for us fans. There's lots of little nods that we'll recognize. The fact that they threw in Deadpool shows that they are thinking about what we want.
Kyle and Yost are also working on a PLANET HULK dvd movie due next year. That will be pretty specific to a story arc. They even mentioned that they'd love to do a Civil War movie (or movies). They (and us consumers) just need to convince Marvel that it would make them money. And by "Marvel" I mean those involved with the movie side of things. They're different than those in charge of the comics. So it's not exactly Joe Quesada's decision to okay or deny different ideas. The problem with something like Next Avengers or the Hulk Vs movies is if people watch it on youtube or whatever rather than buying or renting it, Marvel will think it's not "successful."

I think in order to be done to our standards it'd need to be more than one movie. I wouldn't want it watered down.
And just another reminder (for those that don't feel like reading the first page), I put up my review of Next Avengers here.

I say ugh at this, not because these are kids, but because I really don't like these "Next generation of heroes" type story lines, especially when they are incredibly young and look like something trying to be J-toonish.
The whole appeal is gone due to that. I'll take the Hulk vs series thankyou.
Saw this on marvel.toonzone.net:
The DVD release of Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow cracked the top ten on the DVD sales chart in its debut week.
According to various home media retailing outlets, Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow made a respectable debut on the DVD sales chart for the week of September 7th, 2008, hitting the chart at #10. The title sold nearly 65,500 copies on DVD in its first week. While this is the lowest debut for a Marvel Animated Features title, Lionsgate Home Entertainment expects Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow to have the longest shelf-life of all the Marvel Animated Features releases due to the kid-friendly status of the title.
Keep in mind the number does not take into account rental numbers, high-definition release numbers, OnDemand numbers, or legal download numbers.
So for all the people that quickly put it down, someone was buying it. Maybe it's not your thing but at least there are some people enjoying it. Choice is good.
We do not promote piracy of movies. Plus if you read any of the interviews I did with the creators, you'll see how I mentioned over and over that stuff like this only hurts future prospects of more movies coming out.
