Could this appearance lead to Avengers 2? I mean Falcon does play a pivotal role for Cap and you can consider him a REAL Avenger... If it wasn't Marvel's plan just to make their Avengers sequel diverse. Though, I am happy to know that another character will be showing up with actual powers like Thor - but I'm worried they might alter his powers a bit and make him able to beat the crap out of Thor like they did with Iron Man - Though, then again, that's if Falcon does receive enough attention to be brought to a sequel - but think about it: All of a sudden they cancel Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and bring in a new series Avengers Assemble with the movies line up... And Falcon??? It's too obvious, this is just like the Avengers Assemble limited comic series that's out, where I think it was issue 4, 5 or 6 (I don't even know) and at the end the Guardians of the Galaxy appear to help fight Thanos - 2 or so weeks later after the release of that issue, Kevin Feige announces a movie... I guess they want people to really be familiar with these characters.

If he does appear in Captain America 2, than probably. Personally I would rather see Monica or Tchalla if they plan on adding another black character.

I hope he does show up in Captain America 2 and I hope he becomes an Avenger, he's an important character, as you've said, and I think he would fit in to the Marvel cinematic universe.

He's a lame character that really doesn't need to be in an Avengers film. They'd do just fine with BP or someone else if they absolutely have to have a black hero.

I assumed they'd be adding him after I saw him on that poster for the Avengers Assemble cartoon.

Meh, never really understood the point of The Falcon. Would definitely prefer Ms Marvel or Black panther if they're adding another avenger

How about Luke Cage. He'd be easy enough to introduce.

My guess is he probably will be in Avengers 2. I am not a big Falcon fan, but he could be interesting to see in the Marvel movie universe

black panther needs his own movie before he ever appears in the avengers!!!! ms marvel would be so easy to add in to avengers 2, without the need for her own movie, as can vision. just have tony build him, or as the an ant man movie is being made, have ultron as the bad guy in avengers 2!! but i think falcon isnt the best character to add

Considering he was in the Winter Soldier story I don't see why he shouldn't be in the film. As naming a film after a story has to at least try to keep to it or it would disappoint some people. Changing Falcon for someone else would be like in Planet Hulk when they changed Silver Surfer for Beta Ray Bill although there was legal reasons for that.
