This reminds me of what they did with New Avengers, they pretty much got the most popular characters and made them into the Avengers.

got to say im rather disappointed in Marvel for launching an ad campaign where we were supposed
to be wow'd by the new members of a new team replacing the New Avengers, only for it to end up 
being Cap, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Clint, Spider-Woman, Thor and Iron Man, which is the old New
Avengers line-up, with Iron Man back in the roster, and Luke traded for Thor, and done by the same
writer and artist nonetheless. so why the secrecy, they could have just cut the useless foreplay and
said New Avengers relaunches to signify the beginning of a new age.

In other words, this will be Bendis' reboot of New Avengers #1 but without the Sentry (thank god). Pass! I'm jumping on with Brubaker's Secret Avengers.

NO!!! Spider-man is not supposed to be on a real Avengers team...neither is Wolverine...and not for nothing but isn't Wolverine busy???? X-force and X-men business over on Utopia should keep him not only busy but on the other side of the country.  Why not put Spider-woman and Tigra if you want those types of characters on the Avengers??  And they said this isnt the final roster? So why show it?  We knew three would be there and most people don't want the other two to be there so why even put out this pic?

will we really get a Ant-man(Pym), Hawkeye, quicksilver,Ms Marvel, wonder man, or a Vision movie... to introduce them, when we already have SPidey and Wolvie movies...
 
think about it... With ^^^ that picture... most have had movies... and 2 will have movies thats a team of 5 Avengers.... then add HULK... thats 6 Avengers for the Movie...
 
6 Avengers... Oh and On Iron Man 2... Black Widow is there...

There is no definition to their bodies and Thor and Iron Man both look like stone golems. Are those needles coming out of Wolverine's arms? These artists should be ashamed of their work and Marvel should be ashamed of passing this off as an intro poster/possible cover.

It's not a team of super-heroes, it's a team of money makers !!!

*Sigh* You know, starting to think we should just put Deadpool in there too, as long as we're using characters solely based on popularity. Spider-Man and Wolverine never fit and the "witty banter" they were introduced for never really came across as anything other than forced. Personally I miss the second stringers like Firestar and Jack of Hearts. Hmm, come to think of it, bring Songbird into the Avengers finally would be neat. But no, we get the traditional ones which is kinda like Vanilla in my opinion, good but so many better flavors out there.

I just want to know, Iron Man made a clone of thor which killed Black Goliath, he treated all his friends like criminals and locked them away in the same facilities the villains were in, and somehow everything's okay now? Why would anyone trust Tony again? I mean I seriously can't think of a single reason they shouldn't lock him in a cell and throw away the key.

Probably 2 left, they need girls to balance the sausage fest. But they have enough muscle, they need more support.
