    Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #1 0

    This is an event with “X-Men” in the title so of course I was excited for it… even though it’s been like, what, a month since Original Sin finished? (They are cranking these events out way to fast)After reading all of the “March to AXIS" material in Uncanny Avengers and Magneto I was soooooooooooo excited for this event. I loved the idea of Red Skull going all Nazi on Mutants and I thought the issues in Magneto and Uncanny Avengers did it awesomely… however...

    AXIS to POWER 0

    In general I am usually less than impressed by the Big Two event books. Predominately it seems like all they do is take over the books with more often than not disruptive tie-in issues. The actual event book itself can feel hamstrung by page count with information provided in other books that is necessary for the emotional arc of the event book to function. It’s too early on in Marvel’s latest event Avengers & X-Men:AXIS to really make anything regarding declarative statements. ...
