It's the third day of the week so that means it's time for more AVENGERS VS X-MEN teasers from Marvel. So far in the first batch we've seen Magneto vs. Iron Man and Psylocke vs. Black Widow. Yesterday we saw Spider-Man vs. Iceman and Storm vs. Thor. You guys have been vocal on who you think would win each match up and now we have a couple more to think about.

Hulk vs. Emma Frost? Sure Hulk can smash but Emma has her telepathy to shut him down. Could she stop his mind if Hulk goes into pure savage mode? Also, if she's in diamond form, she can't use her telepathy. What would be her best strategy?

In the second pairing today, we have Beast and Luke Cage.

Both are strong but you have to give Luke the advantage in terms of strength. Beast is more agile and could try dodging Luke's punches. Plus Beast has an advantage in terms of intelligence. Would Beast rely on a straight forward fist fight or would he try to use logic to find a way to avoid the fight?

Surprisingly there was a third teaser released today as well.

Ms. Marvel vs. Rogue. We've seen this before. Ms. Marvel is bound to still have some hard feelings but Rogue has better control over her powers now. Hmmm...

The teasers are cool but I am not fully sold on this yet.

So confusing..... beast on X-Men side, Hulk back, Thor alive..... Is Marvel just throwing history to the wind for this over inflated event?

These match ups bore me though. When was the last time Hulk was an Avenger? And Frankly, we've seen Ms. Marvel Vs Rogue so many times now that it's just not pertinent enough anymore.

So it looks like I was wrong about team Wolverine siding with the Avengers. What about the man himself? Didn't he want to kill Wanda? Also why the hell has the Hulk not got long hair and a beard? 

I have no idea what's going on anymore. I would have definately thought that Beast would side with the Avengers, currently he seems to be an Avenger first and an X-man second. Hulk was out of the Avengers and has been for years really. At least Ms. Marvel will get to beat up Rogue

I'm liking this stuff a lot! I hope they pull this off. Very Interested.

I really thought Beast would have the edge in terms of strength over Cage. Hmm.. sounds cool. Love the covers, especially the Ms. Marvel VS. Rogue.

WHY WOULD EMMA FROST FIGHT HULK AT ALL!? WHERE IS COLOSSUS? Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...

Beast could beat Cage if he fights smart; by using his agility and the environment to his advantage he could end that fight without taking a very bad beating. If he goes toe to toe with Cage then Cage is going to win. It doesn't matter how strong Beast is right now, Cage seems to be a favourite of certain writers right now.

Rogue could beat Ms. Marvel by taking her powers (again), but other then that I'm giving it to Ms. Marvel.

These teasers make no sense I've seen wolverine on both sides of the teasers, I think these some of these fights won't actually happen and are just tease and hype ad's, and before I started noticed these odd discrepencies I was excited but now it is just confusing.

From this set of teasers, I'm guessing these matchups aren't literal..... -_-

Why are Rogue and Ms. Marvel fighting in Paris?

tbh I'm more interested in storys than fistfights. If theres a decent story behind all of these battles it should be pretty good whatever the matchups are.

Another aspect to the Beast / Luke Cage match is their secondary powers. Bullets bounce of Luke. Beast has got hit hit hard and often and use his brain to win. But Beast has a healing factor.. As Hank said to Logan once "My healing factor may not let me take bullets like pepperoni on pizzas as you do, but it makes me hard to put down." Or something like that. Also, Hank is FAST. Faster than Logan so probably faster than Luke.

Emma would have to time it perfectly. Stay in diamond form long enough to not get smashed, turn human at mind fry Hulk before she can take advantage of her squish-ability. And that assumes she can affect him in rage form. I don't think diamond form Emma can beat Hulk one on one in a fist fight. Of course Hulk could just grab her and toss her straight up into the air as hard as he could. Stand there and wait for her to come down. She turns human ..splat. Even in diamond form, she would survive but not have much fight left in her.

Ms Marvel vs Rogue? As it has been said, depends on if Rogue can drain her. And would Rogue be willing to do it again? Or does Rogue still feel too guilty to add the insult to the original injury?

It really depends on whose writing and what agenda they have though. Not expecting character consistency to get in the way of bad writing.

It's sad, but one of the things that really appealed to me about this was the thought of who they'd pair up with Beast. But Luke Cage? Come on, Beast can annoy him at best. He's too durable for him.

Hulk vs Emma Frost? Jeez, that's not interesting. Hulk took on the entire X-Men on multiple occasions. Plus, Hulk's multiple personalities make it hard for even Professor X to get into his head, so it's gonna suck for Emma. After, Diamond is softer than Adamantium and the Hulk has torn that to bits at least once.

Pretty much this. There are off the top of my head four matches that have distinct winners unless jobbing and other forms of PIS are involved, which I'm sure they will be.

Hulk vs. Emma sure was a shocker. Something tells me they're going to make Emma win. Beast vs. Luke Cage should be cool. I'm looking forward to reading this when it comes out, so long as the fights are actually interesting and not just simple brawls. I don't really like the art for the Ms. Marvel vs. Rogue teaser :/

I'm team X-men but Avengers stomp....hard

Hulk smash Diamond Lady! Beast takes the win on Cage and...hmmm, I'm conflicted on Carol and Anna. Seems like that could go either way honestly.

Say what u will Beast vs Cage is the fairest fight so far and Cage still wins it.

Hulk should crush Frost.

Rogue vs Ms. Marvel depends Carol can win if she blats rogue before rogue copies any powers.

So I think we have 12 fights and we got teasers for 7 so far.

I wonder if that's not a coloring mistake in the Hulk/Frost teaser, since Hulk isn't on the Avengers to my knowledge, but Red Hulk is.

And yeah, Hulk would flatten Frost. Red Hulk might be more intersting.

Rogue beats Ms Marvel again, Beast uses his exquisite brain to defeat Cage, and Emma could use telepathy to win.

But these are probably just teasers and don't represent the actual fights that will take place in this event. I find it hard to imagine how they will contain all the characters and limit them to 1 on 1 fights. I guess we'll just have to see...still VERY hyped and can't wait for this event to kick off! Go my X-Men!

I really hope Emma tears that spaz to shreds and I think she will.

But Luke Cage I think should be able to take Beast out (unless he's extremely, extremely resourceful) and Rogue can only hold onto powers for so long, I think if Ms Marvel can fend her off long enough she'll defeat her. I'm most excited to see Rogue duke it out with her though because I loved that period of time where she was the villain, Rogue was such a G in the 80's.

WTF Hulk vs Emma

I expected a clash of the titans fight Hulk vs Colossus not a b*t*h slap.

Ummmm....Isn't Beast part of Secret Avengers too? How is this going to connect with the current Secret Avengers series since there are other new members joining in the team? It feels like this event is happening too fast for him. =P

i would never have imagined hulk vs emma frost. that being said, i think emma should win. (if not for the sole fact that people may self-destruct if that acutally happens).

Ok i am getting Really sick of Typing this out THOR will be coming back from the dead in his own book a month before this event comes out. they are NOT ignoreing his death in fear itself just cus the hulk no longer is merged with bruce banner it dosent mean he cant appear in other books beast................. is an avenger and a x-men still he just isnt with cylops's x-men he is with wolverine's x-men

2. It seems like the majority of these battles are a stomp in one person's favor, out of all the ones i've seen so far, the only one that could be interesting is Ironman vs Magneto
