Iron Fist has an unrevealed connection with the Phoenix Force in the New Avengers tie-in to AVENGERS vs X-MEN event this year. What do yall think?

I think the phrase "jump the shark" is appropriate here.

I actually hate this. Danny Rand is one of my favorite Marvel characters. I read the Immortal Iron Fist omnibus, and then ordered a ton of old back issues. And now they're saddling him with the stupid Phoenix, easily the most irritating cosmic entity in comic books ever.

And this after Danny was so awesome in New Avengers #20...........get it together, Alonso.

Ugh, yeah. All part of the plan to make Iron Fist a prominent Avenger. They should make Daredevil and Storm the Phoenix too, they're the "newest recruits" that Marvel has been pushing for a while.

Though to be honest, after seeing this cover, the change of dress code to the white outfit in NA was a blatant giveaway.

I thought that that was because of Agamotto? I mean him wearing Green with the Phoenix emblem isnt different than Normal Jean Phoenix...wait? Is Danny the Sorceror Supreme becase Voodoo was deemed unworthy and Danny arose to the challenge?

I was kidding kinda with the Sorceror Supreme thing, but he actually does now sharea connection with Agamotto. Thats why his costume color changed from Green to White. So I'm guessing Shao Lou+Phoenix+Trace ammounts of Agamotto would mean danny is beasting
