Avengers vs. X-Men
Marvel Comics' 2012 event. As a repercussion from the events that took place in The Children's Crusade, Fear Itself, Schism, and X-Sanction, the Avengers and X-Men go to war over the return of the Phoenix Force.
does anybody like xmen vs avengers
i think heros shouldnt fight each other
Umm..how does it make for an "awesome" story if two groups of heroes go to war with each other over the silliest of reasons? Why not?!?! It makes for an awesome story... That is if it's done right..

I said "If it's done right"...Most people who read comics like to see heroes duke it out with each other...If you have a good enough writer, editor and illustrator on an issue the story will come out great...Also I wasn't talking about AvX specifically but comics in general...

Obviously it wouldn't be an awesome story if everyone is fighting for a stupid reason. It's got to be logical and believable. People have differences of opinion and fight for stupid things right through to really serious things all the time. Just because they fight doesn't mean one side has to be 'evil / 100% wrong' and the other 'good / 100%' right. For it to work in super hero stories I thing the divisive factor needs to be serious and the arguments on both sides valid to some sizeable degree. That's where the fun of reading a hero vs hero story comes from. Seeing both sides of the argument, the personal and moral dilemas, the fractured friendships, the drama and hope that they resolve things. Plus there's also the dumb fun of seeing two powerhouses duke it out!
