    A VS X begins here

    Review:

This has got to be the most ridiculous issue I've read to date both good and bad. Avengers Vs X-Men, it's every fan's wet dream. It's something that you'd like the developers to make out of a video game and just play hours and hours of your favorite characters beat up the ones you hate. It's every that a fan could hoped for - only just executed VERY badly. Known full well that using the Phoenix as an excuse to have these teams battle each other just to make sales, it's sad since the characters won't be themselves and that their powers and abilities will be down played. It sucks that both Captain America and Cyclops didn't talked things out since THAT would've helped everyone solved the current situation. What I did liked is that Cyclops got his ass handled to him by Captain America and gets hit by his shield a few times. Emma Frost gets beaten by Iron Man (WHAT?!), Quick Silver comes out of nowhere and takes on Magneto, Red Hulk takes on Colossus, which in my opinion, should be able to win, Wolverine is easily beaten by Hope as she was gaining the powers of the Phoenix little by little (YES!) and every thing else is just one big mess all meshed together to create one big story event. I wasn't feeling much with the dialogue and even though that in certain characters did looked ok, I still not into John Romita Jr's art. Not the best issue so your better off going to a battle forum for a battle on two teams going up against each other.

Yet, within the first few pages it very quickly beats the heck of out if it's own potential within an inch of it's life. The very premise that a conflict, a violent conflict wherein lives could be lost, between the X-men and th...

It's OK, but it has a neat twist or two 0

So the fights start to take place. Overall, the whole conversation between Cap and Cyclops seems a bit dumb. They're both being ridiculously unreasonable. I know the writers were going more for shade of grey than just having one side or the other be the bad guys, but it probably would have been a little better written if Cap had not come making demands. Still....the book has a couple nice twists. Two of them involve some characters who were featured in issue 0. Frankly, for one of them, I was wo...
