    AF Reviews: AvengersHere we have it, the biggest thing ever to happen to comics ever...since Fear Itself. It's the Avengers vs. X-Men. Or maybe calling it that is premature considering by the end of this issue after a whole other prologue issue, a prologue tie-in over in Avengers, a prologue months earlier and a whole miniseries that was referred to as a prologue of sorts we're still basically in .1 mode.Now, onto the writing... this one was obviously Brian Bendis writing and most his problems s...

    StoryA slow pace to this issue allows a little for character development - fine if you are new to these characters - but this has been hyped up to be the greatest Marvel tale ever and for it to live up to that billing the pace and action needs to be coming a lot thicker and a lot faster.ArtA huge disappointment with too many characters having either body or head in disproportion to what they should be.     Recommended!This issue was better than the prologue. Still not perfect, but getting there. My hope for this 12 issue event is rising. At this point, I have decided to declare my allegiance with the Avengers. I know it may seem like I am jumping on the "hate Cyclops" bandwagon, but I just feel a greater affinity for the Avengers - and it is not because I am a big Steve Rogers fan. In fact, I am not a big fan of either side's leader. It is the more "family" and "team oriented" feel to the Avengers...
