If you've read the first issue of UNCANNY AVENGERS, you know we already have quite the roster. The roster currently consists of Havok, Captain America, Wolverine, Rogue, Thor and Scarlet Witch. It was a little odd that Cap asked Havok to lead this squad despite other leaders such as himself, Wolverine and Rogue being on the team. We also saw some conflict between Rogue and Scarlet Witch.

To make things more complicated, it's been announced that in issue #5, Rick Remender will be adding three more characters to the roster.

Wasp, Wonder Man and Sunfire are coming to the team. We've already seen that apparently Wonder Man has been forgiven for his action against the team in the pages of THE AVENGERS.

It was mentioned that Wolverine and Sunfire have some "business" to resolve. Wonder Man will be a pacifist and P.R. guy for the team. Perhaps we'll see the return of his feelings for Scarlet Witch? Wasp will provide funding for the team so they don't have to rely on "government mandates."

It was also announced that Olivier Coipel will be filling in for John Cassaday on the issue. This all sounds pretty interesting.

Thats a decent cover but i don't understand why its taking so long for cassidy to draw these issues. This isn't a complex cover at all. Will issue 5 come out on time?

Wasp!!!! but I don't like this book that much. Too overrated. I can't believe this sold more than 300k.

This makes me less excited for things to come. I hate Wonder Man! Seriously? His powers are so lame and generic. And I really like Sunfire, but this costume sucks. His AoA costume was awesome. The team was perfect before...sigh. But, Rick always knowns what he's doing.

The addition of Sunfire is cool, but I would have liked it more if they brought Firestar back into the Avengers fold.

Also, I have a feeling that artists are slowly and subtly gonna stop using the new Captain America design and go back to that out-dated chain mail looking thing. C'mon Cassady!

Ah, yes. It's been a while since I last saw Sunfire... and he's still wearing the head of a roadkilled cat fish as a mask. Some things never change.

I support any decision that puts Sunfire into a regular monthly title. That cat's been around since the 70's & is still one of the most underutilized of all Marvel's characters. Wonderman is redundant in the same team with Thor. He's clearly only on hand to serve as a romantic foil for the Scarlet Witch, a relationship I never much cared for. Happy to see the Wasp find purchase with this team. I'd like to see Quicksilver & Banshee on this roster.

Yeah... I know Banshee's dead. It's comics. One line of type brings him back.

Have you given a try. Aside from some problems I have with the art the book is great. The story is really compelling and the inclusion of some "secondary" mutants like Havok and Sunfire writes as something really interesting.

This makes me want to keep reading even more... but I do agree with you. Some of those costume designs NEED to change. Like Rogue's, Havok's and now Sunfire's. (I do like Wanda's though.)

I hate this book so much. The story feels so generic and obvious. Too bad I'm too much of a Rogue fan so I can't drop this book. To make things worst, Wasp is in the team, I can't miss it, even though I wanted to.

I don't understand. Two mentions of "i hate this book" but there's only been one issue. How can anyone hate it so soon?

I've never even heard of Sunfire, so I guess I'll give it a go to see what he's all about... though I found #1 to be pretty average.

Cool characters, but I won't be picking this series up. I just wasn't into that first issue.

So Cap is back in his old uniform again. I guess they aren't going for consistency in Marvel Now since this has to be his 6th uniform in the Now teasers, issues, and covers.

So far, Cap's best costume is the one in his own book in the marvel now. this look like a poor man version of that

yeah!? So Wasp never did die they say. Sweet they got some power house players on the team. I love that there bringing in Wonder Man. I hope Simon won't go crazy. He's a good character. And for Sunfire, great choice! Wish he can look like his Age of Apocalypse outfit... but then he did look like that in the main stream when he was a horse men. Hey Rick Remender who else you gonna put on the team? I wanna see She-Hulk or Kitty pride on this team. Love this news.
