    Origins revealed!

What we can Like about it:

We get a great story in this issue, if you know nothing about these characters and find them interesting then PICK THIS UP. If you like origins stories then PICK THIS UP. Its 3.99 its well worth the price. Starting off the issue we learn that Hank Pym's (ant man) wife has died and he's going through a bit of a crisis with that. It is probably affect not only his day-to-day life but his work as a scientist as well. After being denied funding for his current project he meets Janet Van Dyne. After meeting her he heads home and does some science and experiments on himself, like all good scientist. He creates Pym Particles that make it so he can shrink! After playing around with this new ability he gets the growth serum and grows back to normal. Janet Van Dyne really like Hank and he's a bit thick headed about the whole thing. He's become quite dedicated to his new shrinking talent and is busy trying to play hero. She finds out about it and subsequently becomes the Wasp with the ability to shrink and grow wings. This One shot covers those things and the complexities of their lives as they start to play the role of heroes and lovers. The art by Stephanie Hans is extraordinary!! The story by Roberto Aguirr - Sacasa is great and keeps you reading! This was a great team effort and I think everyone involved with this one-shot deserves a pat on the back. If this is the way the Origin books are going to be I'll buy everyone of them that's for sure.

    What we don't like:

This is petty and I'm sorry but if there is one thing I don't like its that Janet is coming off as desperate for Hank and that Hanks a bit of an emotional roller coaster. Maybe that is the way these characters really are? I don't know much about them but i have heard that Hank has an anger problem, but that's not evident in this story.

    With their powers combined:

The story is amazing the art is right up there with is. Like I said before you should buy this issue and share it with a friend. If you know nothing of these characters I think you may grow to like them. It seems like there is no matter to big or small for this hero duo.

So I’ve been following this reading order for Marvel Comics and it’s been interesting going so far, I love seeing all of these heroes in their really early days, but there’s something quite repetitive about them and they’re very slow in the character development. So I count my blessings that every now and then I get reprieve in the form of modern comics set early in the characters sagas. In Avengers Origins: Ant-Man & The Wasp we get a concise retelling of the origin o...

THE GOODI really liked this issue. It was a nice one-shot story. It has no cliffhanger, an honest encapsulated "adventure" story, and perfect for an origin. It would have been nice to learn more about the Pym Particles, but seeing them in action is more important anyway. My favorite part of the story was Hank's discovery of his "powers"; it felt very organic. The art and writing were great; very consistent with the other Avengers Origins stories.THE BADApparently I read these in the wrong order, ...
