    Way better than I expected...

I've been pretty disappointed with this series so far. Bendis' writing is good, but Romita's artwork has been ass. That changed in a VERY minor way this issue. Most of the issue was the usual horrible Romita fair, but for some reason I can't place, I REALLY like the way the guy draws Ultron. I don't know what it is. I dislike the rest of the art across the board, but anytime Ultron's on panel, he looks great. As to the story itself, it's starting to get a little long in the tooth. Time travel stories don't usually do it for me, but this one especially is dragging on. Thor smashing Galactus in the face was pretty awesome, though. And future Stark's ominous time-line is VERY intriguing, if only because of the future possibilities it shows. I hope some of those play out more. Overall, it's average, which is better than the series has been so far. If it wasn't for the first four issues, I'd recommend a pickup, but the series as a whole has been disppointing.

As each moment in time fades it goes back to when t...

The Avengers Need Bill Murray 0

Answers come quickly as Brian Michael Bendis' time crisis plot really pulls together in this issue. What is happening, why and direction for how the Avengers can stop it are all made clear in a story arc that has honestly been a bit hectic and confusing until now.  Bendis may still be working on his grasp of some Avenger characters like Thor, but he is always a great Iron Man writer. This issue makes that clear as much of the content hangs on a conversation between the present day Tony and an ol...
