    H.A.M.M.E.R Strikes!! About time….

After three issues of this story arc which it has great potential to be an epic story is finally moving forward and it’s not bad actually if it wasn't for a few really big stupid factors. Best issue out of the previous five you might say but we still not enough to satisfy completely.

The issue starts with Osborn going around ranting about his rights taken away when it's public knowledge that Norman is clearly insane and he is guilty for multiple crimes against humanity which even the government is totally aware of and people still buy it……after we see Rulk smashing the guy which was just a hologram and accidentally destroyed the device that projected him. Cap not pleased at everyone being an idiot and asking dumb questions about what just happened; he gathers his team and sends them out to find Osborn’s whereabouts. The team splits in groups which consist of Rulk with Storm, Hawkeye with Spiderwoman (bendis trying to force the romance again) and Ironman with Protector while Cap, quake and vision lead the team from a quinjet. But for our surprise we learn that Osborn was ready for this to happen! So he counters each team with HAMMER’s own personal army of gray hulks, wasps and giant men and they manage to take down most of the team. Ending the issue a little exited to see more.

    The Good:

Things are moving forward after three issues and the threat of H.A.M.M.E.R is big now. We have the union of some of the biggest criminal organizations of the Marvel U and they are showing what they can do working together. And this seems to be just a preview of what they can do. If I’m correct then this will last 3 more issues and I feel this is just the first wave, and is not going well for our heroes at all. And I kinda like the designs of H.A.M.M.E.R’s super powered soldiers and art is still nice.

    The Bad:

Bendis seriously thinks he can make us believe everything he says is true. I mean really? Hawkeye hates Osborn more than Spider-Man?.....if that’s what bendis believes, then he clearly doesn’t even know one of the most basic things about Spider-Man…and he writes spider-man all the time! Was it because of what Clint did back in new avengers during the dark reing? The only reason why Spidey didn’t go crashing in to the Osborn’s base of operations was becau- oh wait! he did during the “American Son” story arc in ASM! And then again during “The List” one-shot and did far more damage that Hawkeye ever did (by revealing lots of nice videos of the maniac experimenting in people against their will and being humiliated by his own son). Ok let me rephrase that…just because Spidey was smart enough to avoid rushing against his arch nemesis instead of saying “Lets just get in there and kill Osborn so everyone will hunt us down hating us forever while turning the green goblin into a national hero” doesn’t mean it makes his hate towards Osborn greater than Peter’s. Seriously I can tolerate changes to status quo or some retcons if they are done right….but this is just sad….fanfic level sad….as we obviously pretend that Spider Woman is dumb (she said it)

Also the fact that every civilian in the Marvel Universe is a complete moron! This thing with the “The public hates the heroes” is just getting old and annoying. I’m starting to think that their reaction towards this kind of stuff is quickly becoming too fictional itself. People in real life would mostly wouldn’t buy this crap, sure there would be the stupid people who would but everyone with a brain should wonder “hummm…the hologram of a guy who has been proven to have been guilty of multiple crimes with solid evidence on national television (Siege anyone?) is going around claiming that Captain America, the guy who saved us from the Nazis and multiple threats over the years. Including the whole god of fear/Nazi invasion all over the globe a few months back and his superhero team who have done the same or more are the bad guys…..suuureeeeeeeeeee....whatever you say little crazy goblin”. Seriously Bendis, this is just beating a dead horse and nobody is buying it. Oh and please, drop the jokes for they make the characters look stupid and moronic (Red Hulk and Storm moment was really…really…stupid).

And now that is confirmed that Spider-Man isn't part of the main team just makes the whole “Avenging Spider-Man” ongoing “Avengers X Saction” mini and his main book kinda outdated in the status quo….wonderful…wait!? if spider-man was just watching inside the mansion, why didn't he react when Osborn came out?

    Overall 3/5

The issue wasn’t bad because the pacing got better as well as the way Osborn countered the avengers and proving how deadly HAMMER has become which is good. I want this title to be good. This is the last story arc before avengers assemble comes out and if I heard right, that will be it with Bendis and the avengers. And this story arc has lots of promise but with all the moronic things he is going with. It turned just a little better than previous issues.

Osborn, Hydra, and AIM are all making there moves on The Avengers. Determine to take back the government. Madame Hydra and Osborn are plotting against the Avengers and it's raising a lo of questions on how The Avengers will communicate with the people to prove Osborn is a super villain. We see some Storm in action and The Vision I still find unlikeable. I can really due without that character. The art is okay, the positioning of the characteristics and expressions are good. I still awaiting Stev...
