Healing wounds
I find it renewing and utterly rewarding that Bendis pulled this title back from the sheering and dreadful forces of Fear Itself that, like a black hole, was sucking all of the energy both from characters and readers (note: after the Infinity Quest arc story I quit reading this series, but now I'm back) and Bendis managed to create such an edge story, linking it to the New Avengers title, that even the usual annoyences like another time the Avengers are without a home (fact: that's why I hate parallel stories, 'cause in New Avengers Annual # 1 Wonder Man and his Revengers tore the mansion down and there it is standing, like nothing ever happened), but once again Bendis proves his value in delivering great dialogues, like the breath taking and emotional scene of Ben Grim apologising for the Avengers Tower destruction - there're some great interactions and a good mood, but definitely the best about the story is how Bendis created a bridge using elements of Marvel's recent past (Civil War, Secret Invasion, Cap's "assassination") and Fear Itself to unleash this new arc story. Daniel Acuña also surprised me a lot with a very solid style and the fact that he done the colors too, terrific job! As an introduction to the next arc story this was a brilliant kick start, dealing with different themes, addressing issues important to the team's future, without over analysing or commitinmg the error of being superficial or hasty too.
