SPOILERS!!! DAMN YOU MARVEL!!! NOW ANOTHER TITLE ON MY PULL LIST!
I cannot explain my utter disdain for what they are doing with Hulk as of late, but sadly I needed to pick this issue up for one reason it was a Fear Itself Tie In. And I say now with great sorrow...I enjoyed it thouroughly. I couldnt stop reading, this is definately the only issue with Rulk that I f#cking love. It showed that this bastard of a man known as Thunderbolt is actually a decent human being, he is willing to fight an throw his life down to protect those that need protecting. I see this issue as something very big for our roid raged Thunderbolt. A cornerstone of his history as Rulk, maybe even a soul shattering event....but trust me this will go bad. Marvel tends to screw over the badass characters
Overall: I enjoy this issue entirely for the art and the dialog, what happened within the comic was awesome. But it was the words of a select few within the story that made it incredible. The dialog between The Thing and Rulk were interesting and quirky but it was the words of Wolverine and Jarvis that really stuck out for me. Wolverine was cold an to the point but Jarvis especially the last bit of dialog about this given moment were almost tear inducing. So if something horrible happens to Rulk I might actually be pissed off.
