Avatar Press is a company whose known for publishing creator-owned works, most often being female characters that are very sexualized, the typical comic book "bad girl".
Some of the numerous "bad girls" Avatar Press is most famed for include their flagship character, Pandora but perhaps the most famed of all their characters is Lady Death, a creation of Chaos Comics! that was given to Crossgen after Chaos went bankrupt and eventually given to Avatar Press after Crossgen went bankrupt. Now she is both Lady Death and Medieval Lady Death in the Avatar Press universe, still written by her creator, Brian Pulido.
