This series definitely had the most potential out of any Spider-Man series yet.

The show is just horrible and has already been removed from my tivo.

She is cute though

I gave the show a chance, but I just can't continue. The way they reintroduce the team most every episode, the cutaways, it all skews too young for my old bones. The continuity and serious fight scenes in Spectacular are what kept me enjoying that series all kinds of ways, but Ultimate - despite the massive production value in it - simply doesn't deliver that itch for me.

You guys should really at least stick till episode 9 written by Bendis comes. I saw it and that is when the show really gets good.

Wait, Drake Bell is playing Peter Parker? I can't decide if that's perfect or not.

I think the show is good.....for kids to 7-8 years old but hell I always have followed that said: Heart of child, mind of adult. You know, mature but with childish likes (/^3^\)

And about her, she's nice :D (Dude anygirl tomboy is nice to me, yeah I'm one too :P)

I absolutely loathed the first episode, but it's been getting better as it goes on. I see it as an extension of the Marvel Movie Universe rather than the comics, so I'm fine with the changes and tone.

I've only seen the pilot so far and it wasn't too bad for me. This looks interesting enough to keep me intrigued.

Remember that great character 'The White Tiger'. I mean the issue where she terrorized Spider-man and they ended up fighting in the meat plant. Oh wait, that was Venom.

Why don't they just bring in Silverclaw from the Avengers?

If this series was more like ultimate spider man the video game, it would be the greatest spider man adaption thus far, but they blew it

I actually kinda enjoy the show for the action (i hate the stupid comedic bits) but I love that Marvel is pushing Iron Fist, Nova & White Tiger

This show needs to get better and soon. The spider cycle is unnecessary, spider-man being arrogant and lacking responsibility, very against character. Yes, I know he is a teenager, but he's the one with the experience in the show and he became a hero to be responsible. I'm still giving it a chance but it's definitely on the bottom of the shows I'm watching right now, right up there with Voltron Force.

Oh really? I was thinking about dropping it but I'd take your word and stick with it for now. Some of his work with Ultimate Spider-man (the comics) are nothing short of genius

I wish this show was as good as this girl is hot. Unfortunately, thats not the case.

She sounds like a dude when she's playing White Tiger. It's pretty scary

this show is soo animey, that 5 year olds are going: if i wanted anime idve watched naruto. gimme spectacular spider-man.

I didn't knew the character, and really warmed up to her!

I love this show !!! I don`t know what`s it with most of you guys but I enjoy a little bit comedy in reading or watching spiderman. The spidey in this series is like the spidey Bendis writes in my opinion. And I love it ! :D

Watched the first few episodes of this Show and I have to say that it is probably the most annoying show I have ever seen. The frequent cut-a-ways to un-funny comedic bits and the character is just..... AHH... ANNOYING!!!

It is a good show, for Marvel's first 'do-it-themselves' animated series. I'm still hooked!

This show is just erratic as Stanley Ipkiss with The MASK on, it's obvious they were going for a Teen Titans Go! action , comedy thing but it just comes off as annoying. Mostly because of Spider-Man's constant fourth-wall breakage and why the hell did they Title The Show Ultimate Spider-Man shouldn't it be "Spider-Man and his 2 dimensional cast of characters no one cares about while doing a terrible job at introducing them to a new audience?".

And please no one give me the excuse that this show is meant for 7-10 yr old demographic because I'll just direct you towards Warner Bros. and Nickelodeon. Evidently it's more than possible to produce a good show aimed at kids that people like me can enjoy.

I miss Spectacular Spider-Man I means sure his spider-sense didn't work unless the plot demanded it but it was damn good.

I have to admit though I love that they put Agent Coulson, him acting so out of character is so absurd it just leaves me giggling.

i think white tiger is the mature one of all the heroes. she has what it takes to lead the team.

This show is epic. Funny as hell and very entertaining. Also do White Tiger lady and Drake Bell have very similar voices..?

@Seraphim84: I agree with you %100, Spectacular Spiderman had some amazing fight scenes, and the story telling wasn't half bad. The Spectacular Spiderman show did not talk down to their audience, which Ultimate does all the time. I definitely think Ultimate are aiming for a much, much younger crowd, which i really can't fault them for, i was just hoping for a continuation of the same quality show as Spectacular. The playing to the camera, and the anime-esque quick cuts are awful. Ah well, at least Archer is still on.

I watched the first two episodes last night and thought the same thing. I'll give it the season to improve and I did like some of the comedy. But you can tell they are aiming at the Disney XD crowd not the Comic Book crowd.

Thank god someone understands shows true intentions. I think it's a great show to reintroduce these characters to the younger generations of comic-readers or soon to be readers, OR those who never picked up a comic book in their life, this show does it.
