Atomos was a digest sized comic book with a black & white interior published in France starting in 1969 that was based on a series of novels by André Caroff (pseudonym of André Carpouzis) that ran from 1963 to 1970.

The comic like the novels told the story of a brilliant but bitter Japanese scientist seeking to revenge herself against the United States for the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, with a series of super science menaces such as radioactive zombies, deadly giant mushrooms, a madness-inducing ray, flaming tornadoes, giant flesh eating spiders and others.

The series of novels ended without a conclusion when the publisher went out of business, Atomos adapted the novels until issue 29 at which point they switched to general science fiction.
