Ronald English used a Nucleonic Radiator to become the super- villain Atom-Smasher, and was capable of transforming his body into pure energy. The Reactor also gave him other abilities such as the projection of heat, hard radiation and concussive force, his energies also enhanced his durability. He was primarily an enemy of Black Goliath, but he was killed by the S.H.I.E.L.D assassin Warhawk.
