So the trailer of the remake of Evil dead is out and the movie will be hitting the silver screen on April 5th. I'm willing to give this movie a chance the trailer itself looks pretty good. Keeps most of the elements but my one thing that I'm disliking is the fact there is no Ash Williams. I don't mean Bruce Campbell not playing the role both rather his character Ash Williams is NOWHERE to be seen in this the cast of characters do not mention Ash in any shape or form. If you wish to see the trailer which is rated R please go to see it on Youtube. I'm not gonna post it on here since well I don't want to get in trouble for posting an R rated trailer.

Please tell me your thoughts on this I have stated my own I will see it but without Ash what's the point of the series? Or the remake of the movie?

Ugh...cult classics shouldn't be remade, it completely defeats the point.

This is true my friend though the movie does look good but I fear it will fall short. rather it won't have a hero/survivor as good as Bruce Campbell's Ash Williams was no other horror series had done what Evil dead did when it made a survivor into a hero in such a badass way I don't think it could ever be redone.
