'Young Justice' Episode 43 "The Hunt" Clips and Images

The action heats up on the next episode.

The new episodes of Young Justice are winding down. The Invasion story is coming to a conclusion. We just have to enjoy the new episodes while they last. It appears that there are only two more episodes, including this one.

On Saturday, February 23, starting at 10 a.m. on Cartoon Network, you can catch new episodes on DC Nation. Along with a new Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode (called "Larfleeze"!) and a DC Nation Farm League short, we can catch the lastest episode of Young Justice.

Here is the official synopsis for "The Hunt."

A band of misfits is put to the test when Lex Luthor sends them behind enemy lines … to rescue the team!

Check out these two clips from the episode provided by Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network.

nightwing sitting like a boss....wouldnt be surprised if he has a big a** plan in this episode...

Hate the Guardan!

Posted by Oscars94

Well this is going to be AWESOME! Arsenal's a BAMF! Nightwing's after thyem AND THAT'S SERIOUS BUSINESS!

C'mon guys. You know you wanna review it... I find it hard to believe there isn't one person on staff who hasn't watched the majority of this show.

P.S. How awesome is this Arsenal compared to his pre-New 52 counterpart?

Posted by haydenclaireheroes

i hope it is not all about the Runaways because that is the story arc I am probably least interested in

Posted by jasontodd7

@haydenclaireheroes: they will play a major role in this.

Posted by Namor1987

LOL Luther's runaways are tearing up Reach stuff.

Posted by BlueLantern1995

This looks good.

"It appears that there are only two more episodes, including this one." That can't be right; this is episode 17 and there are suppose to be 20, so there should be 4, including this one.

aaaaaaugh. I am so disappointed. They foreshadowed Jason. In the hall of fallen heroes or something. I was looking forward to his return. but damnit. Again Jason doesn't get to be in a DC show. Well F you Cartoon Network. You murdered a child before he could grow up to be the president. Or something analogous to that. blargh. whatever. Larfleeze.

Luthor's team and Young Justice working together. Awesome. Still, I'm curious to seeing what Luthor is up to.

I think he's working alongside Vandal Savage to betray the Reach, but I could be wrong.

This show is getting better and better with every episode further.

It's the shame that it won't last long due to CN's crappiest decision.

Please! Please! have Nightwing kick some Jamie Reyes butt in this episode! im getting sick of everyone else fighting while Nightwing sits in a chair and says do this and do that. time for Nightwing to show what hes made of. Every episode I see him I keep thinking "come on, any day now!"

im sure he will once things get more intense but im getting impatient. maybe he will do something in this episode because there is no Team left

Posted by DMXN

Luthor wants the Runaways to be a team like young justice team, but following his commands. And since we know luthor is bad he will probably put he Runaways against The Team. Why is it like this in almost every action show? Good guys working for a bad guy and then they realize he is bad and join the good team against him.

@BoyWander: They were simply paying tribute. A single statue/hologram is hardly foreshadowing. I'd love to see Jason, but claiming that was foreshadowing his return is a bit of a stretch.

Posted by G-Man

@Rixec: Believe me, I hope I'm wrong. I'm just not getting any official word. I want as many as possible.

@ThreadPool: I'd love to review it. Problem is, I watch with my daughter and we're sometimes an episode behind. Since I do work seven days a week, it'd be hard for me to be glued to the TV at the specific time Saturday mornings and then do a write up. Plus, if it's ending soon...

Complaints; Teeny Roy

Approval: Tim Drakes super cool suit

Posted by Suprman

@BoyWander: According to Brandon Vietti's Twitter account, They were never going to include Jason in the story of season 2 because they felt they didn't have time to tell his story and do it justice.

Posted by CodeComiX

@ThreadPool: It's things like Roy/Speedy evolution that mamke this show so awesome, so many characters, yet they all get just enough screen time to give them justice

i just saw plas!!! yeah

Posted by Miss_Garrick

We've got Apache Chief, Static, El Dorado, and a female Samurai joining in, AND CARTOON NETWORK STILL WANTS TO CANCEL?!?! YOU JERKS!!!!!!

Posted by MadeinBangladesh

VIRGIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gonna be another sick episode!!!

Posted by pokemonmon

to be honest i really wouldnt mind seeing a young justice series focused on the runaways. i actually like them.

F yeah Plastic Man!

@G-Man: Dude, that's perfectly fine. IGN doesn't get their reviews up for freaking days. I think it ending is all the more reason to review it. Don't let this amazing show go ignored. I won't keep on pestering you but your opinion of these last few eps would be appreciated. And thanks for your reply.

@CodeComiX: I see what you did there. lol

But yeah, love these characters. I understand some of the complaints, but I feel like most of them get just the right amount of screentime.

I'm so pissed at CN for cancelling YJ and GL!

Did anyone else pick up the final issue of the YJ tie-in comic book?

It's a HUGE shame it's not getting any attention around here. It's really good.

I would have loved if Artemis and Aqalad were back on the regular team. We could have Barry, Nightwing, Miss Martian, Artemis, and Aqualad.

Posted by sentryman555

I'm waiting for Nightwing to do something epic. Every episode we see him in he's getting closer and closer to the point where I think he's just gonna go in and throw down.

I really hope that now that we have Arsenal in the show doesn't mean Red Arrow is done showing up. I would really like to see an episode of just the two of them working together actually.

Posted by RedheadedAtrocitus

Reach this and Reach that...I wonder if the creators of this episode were dipping their fingers into New 52 material for it?

Posted by Mojo65

@ThreadPool: Yes this is a far better take on robot arm Arsenal than what they did after Cry For Justice, no dead cats here! I don't even care that it's really kinda ridiculous that he's so competent since he's only in reality had a few months experience, he's great.

Disappointed in Nightwing this season though, all the other original members (expect for Wally since he has become basically irrelevant) have had great moments of badassery and competence this season but he really hasn't done much and what he has done generally hasn't worked out too good.

This is Cartoon Network's FireFly.

Edited by Mia26

I wonder if we will see interaction from the orginal Roy and Green Arrow ......... that would be awesome.

Posted by X9

"Arsenal to anyone" hahaha, I got the feeling, bro.

Anyway, Nightwing seems pissed, that will be great... especially after checking some revelations from the comics.

Posted by LipstickZombie

@xtremekidx: Damn right!!!

Posted by Mojo65

@X9: Yeah yeah, Babs and Dick, woman he loves taken along with everyone else yadda yadda.

Also Queen Bee needs to be taken down before the end of the season please.

Honestly, I'm not getting the Light's plan this season. Maybe I'm just fogetting some details or not paying enough attention but I can see the pieces, I just can't see the puzzle finished.

I found this interview with the producers, and Weisman told this:

Weisman: I'll admit that we wish we had more room to explore them even more. We had 26 episodes in Season 1 and only 20 in Season 2.

I hope this is still right.

@Rixec: Yeah there are 20 episodes ,listed on animeflavor.com

Nice episode, though Nightwing was a little bit hypocrite. He wasn't exaclty a team player with his whole secret plan.

No, I see his point. Nightwing wasn't being a team player but at the end of the day his goals benefited everyone. Arsenal is really having his own personal agenda.

we are never going to get to see Nightwing actually fight :(

Yeah, they're just teasing us now.

I still wonder who the hell approved Arsenal for duty. Seriously the man obviously isn't all there.

Posted by marwash

seems like Arsenal and the runaways are The Outsiders now.
