I think he's probally still on the team he's just not one of the shadows, unless the Deadpool looking shadow is Cable (maybe a bit to slim) he's suppost to come back soon

Hm. Interesting choice. I would rather have X-23 back in there though, her being one of my favorites. 

I'm wondering if this is how they'll be "bringing back" Nightcrawler. Permanently replacing him with his AoA counterpart?

What I'm wondering is how can they bring over AoA Nightcrawler without blowing the lid of the new X-Force? 
 
But then again, I guess that now Wolverine will be leading his own half of the X-Men, he can come right out and say "Oh, and by the way, I've been running a new X-Force team in secret these past few months.  We've killed Apocalypse, fought a bunch of Deathloks, I killed a Nazi with a sword, and now we brought on an alternate reality version of Kurt.  ANYONE GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?!"

I hope Wolverine and Psylocke are still on the team

I have to say, Regenesis is one event that I am looking forward to...A LOT. I think that for a while now, the X-Men have been more of a society and less of a TEAM. As nice(?) as that is, I think that it's important for them to get back to their roots.

I knew it was coming. As soon I saw the issue of X Force where they ran into the AoA Nightcrawler. I was like "This is how they are going to bring him back.. This might be a good thing.

I like all of those characters, but is anyone else just full of apathy regarding this X-revamp?

Well....that's one way to bring Nightcrawler back. But this news is pretty epic, and really can not wait for the new X-Men book.

im hoping if wolvie isnt there that fantomex is leader. and if that isnt deadpool, fantomex, and psylocke it would be cool if they were more AoAers. or it would be cool if the chick was magik

Also, I am guessing Wolverine is not part of X-force because he is devoting his time to leading his faction of X-Men, and Angel is probably going to be doing some important stuff in the AoA universe.

I wonder how AoA Nightcrawler is going to break the news to Deadpool about what happened to his counterpart in that universe....

AoA Nightcrawler is awesome, considering that this is a good way to bring the character back without reviving him.

i dont care what they do as long as remenders writing.

he's still on the team. all of the cover connect and it would be stupid to put logan twice

I totally agree...and this is amazing news

This is awesome. They ruined 616 Kurt by turning him into a one-note religious character imo (Writers fault, not religion) . Here's a chance to get back to a kickass swashbuckling Nightcrawler even if he is a vastly different character. The rest of the team are the easiest silhouettes yet. WB Betty, Deadpool and Fantomex. Good to see Angel is not on there - even if he is on the team.  The current story is too good to spoil.
 
So Blue team and Gold team have three teams each now. New Mutants and X-factor remain. I kinda hope the latter stay free agents though.

So Cable and Nightcrawler coming back so soon after second coming? Seems way too soon. 
 
Although I do support the idea of bringing AOA counterparts back to 616, it sits with me better than some of the lame CBD comebacks...comes to something when 'crossed over from an alternate reality' is the most plausible return from death.

This makes perfect sense.  Wolverine and Nightcrawler have always had a close relationship.   Even though Wolverine knows that this is not his Kurt Wagner, friend, companion, ally, this is still Kurt Wagner.  This Nightcrawler no doubt does not see Wolverine in the same light, but I am willing to be based on what is going on that will change soon.  There will be a mutual respect once this is all over.  He would make a natural addition to the strike team that is X-Force, and as shown before, this Nightcrawler has no qualms about killing.  He will do what needs to be done.
 
As for Jean.  I don't know, I just don't see her coming back.  It would add a little tension to the Scott/Logan split going on in Schism though.  Even though Scott is with Emma, it would have to hurt to see Jean in the arms of Logan, even if it's not really his jean.  As Scott has shown, as long as she looks the same, he's good (Pryor).  But I ultimately don't think they would bring Jean back in this way.  It would be cool, but wouldn't really fit overall.  We'll see though.  But if I was a  betting man, I'm going to say that Jean is going to die (again) saving X-Force and the AoA universe, and allowing X-Force to return home.  She'll come back, but just not this way. 

Does the AOA Nightcrawler's personality differ from the Earth-616 personality? I've never read AOA, so I'm just curious.
