Wonder Woman Could Head Back To The Small Screen!?

This would be some crazy news!

After years of rumors that Wonder Woman would make an appearance on the big screen, it seems that Warner might try to gauge her popularity first with a lower budget. Warner Brothers Television might be looking to create a modern-day reboot of DC's Wonder Woman for television! Apparently, Warner is looking to 'Ally McBeal' and 'Boston Legal' writer David E. Kelley to take charge as the show's writer. While many of the shows that Kelley has worked on in the past did present strong female characters, it will be interesting to see him take on the challenge of bridging Greek mythos with reality in the supposed new television series. Another thing to think about is whether or not we will be seeing the series animated or in a live action format.  I know a lot of people might hold Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman series near and dear to their hearts, but I find myself hoping that we'll see something a little less campy from Warner Brothers this time around.

So, are you guys looking forward to a Wonder Woman television show? Do you want to see a live action version or animated? And  how do you think they'll deal with the mythology behind the character?
