Sometimes it can be a lot of fun to read a story completely outside of the regular superhero continuity. If you are a Wolverine and Kitty Pryde fan, then you are going to absolutely love this issue. I will start off by pointing out that if you have not been reading 'Wolverine: First Class,' but you are looking for a fun comic to read, this is perfect for you. This issue is the first in a brand new story line, which means you need virtually no background information to understand what is happening in this issue. While I may not be the biggest fan of Kitty Pryde and Wolverine, even I can appreciate the great characterization of both these characters. Peter David does a great job at relaying a sassy Ms. Pryde, and clearly arrogant Wolverine. Skottie Young does a phenomenally aesthetically pleasing cover in a style all his own, and Dennis Calero does a wonderful job depicting emotion with the interiors. While I can't say I absolutely adored the issue, it was still a lot of fun. Who says all comics have to be as thought provoking and compelling as Morrison's ' Batman and Robin'? 3.5 out of 5.
